Alex Fountain passed away this weekend. For anyone who knew him there is going to a show in memory of him tomorrow evening at the Pavilion.

Stay Hungry, Envision, The Gideons, Megalodon, The Carrier, York Redoubt and Memories of Phoenix will be playing.
Still trying to figure out what cover will be. The Carrier are coming from Boston though, so bring a little bit of cash to throw at them.

Doors are at 6pm.

It would mean a lot to have his friends from the community come together for him, so try to make it if you knew Alex.

Thanks.

I was really shocked and sad to hear this news. I didn't know Alex particularly well, but he was a good guy, and he had a lot of good friends.

Will definitely be there. Hang in there, Andrew.

Such a stand up guy. What a shame.
I'm really gonna miss him.
R.I.P, Alex.

In our few, brief interactions I always thought the kid had a real spark.

My condolences and sympathy to the people who loved him.

I really liked Alex, he was one of those thoughtful, happy people. I am shocked and saddened by this news.

Tragic and sad.

RIP, alexf. He was a thoughtful poster on this board, and much much more besides, I'm sure.

Wait what?

This is absolutely terrible fucking news.

I liked Alex so much - he was always so positive in conversations and was into trying new things. He was just getting into record reviews and music photography.

Alex Fountain would have gone far. I'm devastated. My love goes out to his family and friends.

The first time I hung out with Alex, we snuck him into Michael's (it was weeks before his 19th) and he sang karaoke all night. It was always great to see him there - he always sang like he meant it, and whenever I'd see him at a show he was easily the friendliest guy in the room.

I don't have any idea how to process this, but I do know that Alex has so many friends that love him. It was a great pleasure to know him.
