Alright here's the skinny. I hate posting this here, but I really want to get rid of this fast, and I am only selling in HRM.

I recently bought a macbook, and wanted to get a good case. I found Axio's line of Macbook cases really appealing (http://www.axio-usa.com). Not thinking, I didn't call any of the local mac stores, but found one out west that wouldn't charge shipping (over $50) and was selling it for $10 below the normal selling price.

I placed the order with them, and it came in yesterday to my parent's house in Dartmouth. I Got the box today, opened it up and of course- they sent me a 15.4" as opposed to the 13" case.

Ultimately it was there fault, there was nothing on any part of the site, or even the email I got after purchase that said anything about Macbook Pro, it just simply said "Macbook" and showed the 13" model case.

I called them today and they seem really unprofessional, they said they will send me a new case and will also reimburse me to send the package back to them but when I asked them how I would go about that they responded "We're not sure".

I then found out the Halifax Mac Store (TerraConsultants) has the 13" model. Instead of dealing with this company again and going through the hassle of refunds, and reimbursement + Wait times I would much rather sell it privately.

As mentioned the case is brand new, I literally pulled it out of the shipping box today, realized it was the wrong size and put it back in. All tags are still attached, all original invoices are here including credit receipt showing date of purchase, and date of it being shipped (July 31st). I even have the shipping box with my home address on it (if you want).

It is a really really slick looking case, the outer shell is really tough ABS plastic.
Here are some pictures:

Normally this thing goes for $79 Canadian, with tax I paid $74 in total.
I will sell this thing for $70 if someone can pick it up ASAP- I am tired of
carrying my macbook around in the cotton slip wrap it came in.

I am located basically on the Dal campus, and will be here all night tonight and most of the weekend.

Yeah man, they are fucking awesome cases.

All the reviews I've read are people raving about them, and the level of protection they provide. The outer shell is actually really really tough, actual ABS plastic and the foam inside fits the laptop really snugly (if I had the right size obviously).

They're on the pricey side, but it's better this than a piece of neoprene that costs half as much.

These guys do a lot of motorcycle gear, molded ABS backpacks for bikers and stuff, high quality gear.

so this case is meant for a pro, though do you know if it'd fit a 13' macbook?

I actually tried my 13" in it.

It "Fits" inside alright, because the case is designed for the thinner pro it has a really sung top and bottom fit but the problem of course is that it's too wide.

If you place it right in the center though, it doesn't touch any of the sides, so it does slide around inside though not AS much with the lid closed, plus there is foam on the inside so it's unlikely it would get too damaged if you put the case in a backpack or something.

But it is nowhere near a "Proper" fit.

Hey, guys. If your girl has MacBook, This is it!<br>
I bought the case from <a href="http://www.macbook-case.com" target="_blank">ww.macbook-case.com</a> for my girlfriend.
Here is the picture of it.
<a href="http://www.macbook-case.com/pd.asp?pi=54585&amp;pn=MacBook-Case--2D-13-inch-Transparent-Purple" target="_blank"><img src="http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1172/957561164_5806ae5859.jpg?v=0" width="500" height="333" border="0"></img></a><br>
We love it! You gotta see it for yourself. No Doubt!
I bought this for my girl for protection, but We got impressed by the look. It looks plain if you compare it with other brand, but because of the simple design, it doesn't ruin the Apple design and looks fantastic! <a href="http://www.macbook-case.com/sitemaps/MacBook-Pro-Case/"><b>MacBook Pro Case</b></a>

that's practically begging for overheating. just because the fans aren't covered doesn't mean it won't overheat. a lot of it has to do with the thermal transfer from the bottom of the notebook to the surface it is resting on.

this is also why the industry isn't calling them "laptops" anymore.. they shouldn't really be on your lap.

I live in Nevada but have family in California ( I assume Halifornia is California) So please get back to me if you still want to get rid of the Axio Hardsleeve or maybe you just bought a 15.4" MBP to fit the case! In anycase let me know - thanks!
