So they're making a law, retroactive to June 1st.. if you hadn't reconfigured your store before then, you are no longer allowed to open on Sundays..

I swear.. this fucking province is going backwards instead of forwards..

Go fuck yourself. Hard.

Well I think the obvious solution is to argue in circles about it on the internet.

Is there a way to force another plebicite on the people, by way of signature gathering or something?

Why the hell shouldn't there be Sunday shopping? Why should a family where both parents work full-time, be forced to only do all of their running around, grocery shopping, etc, on Saturdays, or in the couple hours after work?? Have you seen the state of grocery stores on Saturdays? It's damn near impossible to do it, and it takes hours cause they're so busy.

People complain about traffic in this city, yet don't realize just how much the traffic would be reduced if you had both Saturday and Sunday to do your stuff.

I'm glad anyone is even talking about such a meaningless issue, especially Rodney, a person this law would have no effect on whatsoever either way.
I mean, I'd love to be able to shop on Sundays....but the fact that this sparks some sort of policy debate is pathetic...it might be important, but Oh so trivial.

How bout housing, health care, tuition, drugplans...fuck! Anything! I'm sure "families" would appreciate that stuff more than not having to work on Sunday/being able to shop on Sunday....

The newspapers shouldnt have made a big deal out of it.
